The Alamo is directly across the street from the hotel. The Riverwalk area is about 2 blocks away.

The riverwalk is something that everyone should experience. It is kept so clean and is so very unique. The Japanese gardens should also be check out as the missions and of course the Alamo.

Little warm welcome. Hotel noisy (near a railway line - air conditioning in the room very loud), ordinary breakfast, valet parking has added to room rates.

The design of the hotel is such that the lobby faces all windows in the rooms. If one person speaks in the lobby, it can be heard in the rooms. Also, the noise insulation of the rooms is terrible.

Valet parking through the Crockett is about $8 more per night. I have a feeling you can park the car across the street in the same lot that Crockett uses. Please be aware that some parking lots charge for every in and out move. The Crockett valet is a flat charge no matter how many times you use your car each day.

Take the River Walk boat ride, it is very informative on the history of San Antonio.
