I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it was much better back then. There was a tiny kitchenette leading into the bathroom with broken towel and toilet paper holders. I had to keep the toilet paper on the counter so that it wouldn't fall on the floor. The kitchenette had only a small sink, a microwave, a coffee maker, a tiny refrigerator and an under sink cupboard door that didn't have a latch to keep it closed. Basic tv - no dvd or vcr.

Nothing about this hotel stuck out. They did nothing above and beyond and only offered the minimal amenities. They did not even have complementary lotion or shower caps. Slightly low budget over all.

Check out Broadway. It's not California nightlife, but definitely a great time nonetheless. I suppose the only dissapointing factor would be the lack of women to men ratio. Hmmm maybe we went there the wrong time of the year (Biker Week), but it seemed there were too many men and not enough women. What's the deal? Stick with Broadway and away from Club Kriptonite. Not worth it (IMO).

Would stay at this hotel again, but next time would make sure to get an oceanfront room and not oceanview. Right on the beach and perfect location. Had a problem with getting towels and washcloths in room, apparently there was a shortage. Had to keep calling desk to get some delivered. Comfort of beds were terrible and lousy pillows. Refrigerator broke but was fixed very quickly, toilet overflowed first time it was flushed. Overall not a bad place.

This hotel is a little older but very well maintained. Our room was Clean and neat I appreciated the parking on the first six levels of the hotel (We were on 5). It made a short walk to the room. The restuarant was fine and it has a Starbucks in the hotel lobby. Alltogether pleasant.

This hotel was great. The staff was very friendly and the amenities, wonderful! Our weather was terrible but with so many indoor activities, we had a blast. Our children didn't want to leave.
