The hotel had a weakness with the elevators. There were 3 elevators and one was broke most of the time and created an uneasy feeling when using them. The room was nice, but the air conditioner was very noisy.

The hotel was as expected except for the horrible service from the front desk. They were way under staffed for a Friday and the lady was very rude and slow. I took about 45 mins to check in. The room and hotel itself were nice. I probably will not go back here simply because of the girl at the front desk and when you're only staying two days you don't want checking in to take an hour.

The hotel was great as far as roomieness and a full kitchen. the view was wonderful as well. I had a full size van and the parking was terrible .

We stayed for a one night at the Patricia, just to get away for our 10th anniversary. We were on a budget so we couldn't stay for a second night, if circumstances were different we would have stayed addtional nights. We did have some bad luck with the elevators, 2 of the 3 broke the morning we were to check out(bad when you're on the 19th floor)but hey I needed the excercise. WE checked in a little early and they had the room alreasy prepared, and no problem checking in. You park across the street in the parking tower, and they have valet, if necessary. Interesting thing about the heated indoor pool, they pipe in elevator muzak, seriously lame orchestral muzak. We jokingly talked about with the GManager, and she explained that they actually have complained to their higher up's about it, but they haven't made any decision to change the muzak. It was humorous to hear her talk about it :) Go and have some fun, go to the beach, you need a break.

The hotel provided parking for unloading & checking-in close to the front door. Additional parking was just across the street.

Broadway at the Beach is less than a 5-minute taxi cab ride away, and it's well worth the trip. It has shopping, restaurants, bars, and recreational attractions. It was a great place to spend the night!

There are many positives to staying at the Patricia Grand, such as: -great location -nice ocean views -rooms equiped with well-maintained kitchen facilities -hotel parking garage -clean rooms -great, helpful service -several indoor and outdoor pools/jacuzzis One thing that could use some improvement is: -the cleanliness of the outdoor pool/jacuzzis Overall, we are very glad we chose the Patricia Grand for the its convenience, cleanliness, service and amenities!

You've gotta eat at Tripp's at Broadway at the beach, it was great food and great service. Stay away from TBonz. It was a disappoinment to a steak lover.

Shop around. I've been to Myrtle Beach literally dozens of times. There is a lot to choose from.
