Hotel is nicely renovated but rooms are really small! It is better suited for a single traveler with minimal luggage. There is pretty much just a bed and a tv. The bed was comfortable though. Cons: There was no one to help with our bags both at check in and check out. In addition, there would often be a wait to use the elevator to go to our room since there are so many rooms in the hotel.

Breakfast available over the road at Blake & Todd - great selection at very reasonable prices Buy a metro card and top up as required - can use it on buses aswell Book the Statue of Liberty / Ellis Island trip in advance and get a reserve time to avoid the queues

Fast, efficient and friendly service. For a first time visitor to New York like me, it was a place of refuge to get back to after a busy day on the town!

In spite of its large size, manages to maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Room small but clean and comfortable and everything worked. Breakfast in main restaurant expensive but very good. Great location for getting uptown and downtown and for Grand Central station.

Best location, close to Grand Central Station, Times Square, and many other sightseeing areas. Hotel is located in upscale area. So you feel very safe to walk around and sightsee. Hotel is very nice inside and staff are very helpful. Rooms are very, very small, but clean and nice decor. Great for a couple that is going to N.Y. to do alot of sightseeing and not spending alot of time in your room.

The hotel is about 2 blocks from Grand Central Terminal. At Grand Central you have subway access, food courts and airport shuttle service to La Guardia which is less than being picked up at the hotel ($10 per person less).
