Hotel lovely, service poor

A one week Metro (underground/tube) ticket is $25 (about 13 GBR pounds) and works on buses and metro trains. However taxis are super cheap and getting to Times Square from the Hotel was only $5. If you're not from the USA remember the tipping culture in the US is typically 15%-20% and applies to bell boys, cleaners, taxis, waiters and even people in toilets who pass you the soap so keep some low dollar notes handy!

Nice service, but these folks don't know the basics of hotel maintenance.

OK if you are patient and the rest of your trip is going fantastically well.

Can see the Chrysler building from the hotel and near to Times Square, the Rockerfeller Centre, 5th Avenue and The Empire State Building. Subway only 3 blocks away.

Great Hotel!

I had a wonderful stay at this very chic and comfortable hotel. Our room was just perfect and the hotel staff was very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel is in a perfect location!

Radisson Lexington

When visiting NYC, definately take the GrayLine Red Bus tours in the city or the NYCITYSIGHTS buses. They are excellent ways to see the city and learn some cool facts!

great location and had a blast.. would stay here again

the hotel was great and the location was too. We weren't as ready for the major walking. I do suggest first timers to take the sight seeing tour bus that you can hop on and off from. Great way to see the city and to see where you want to go back to.

nice 07/04

It's a nice hotel next to the Waldorf-Astoria. Next time I hope I'll get a cleaner room! In the bathroom were many hairs and under the desk was garbage... but for a short stay it was absolutly okay.

If size matters...

If you pay for a "petite" room be advised that that is what you are going to get. "Petite" in New York is more like tiny, but I did expect that. If size is a factor for you than spring for a larger room. The staff were very helpful and the location is great. You can get anywhere in the city by either foot or subway which was essential.

Ok overall

This was not a bad room for the price. For being the petite room it was bigger than expected. The door would stick causing one of the maids to call security because they thought the door was locked. Also I had to call for a cover for my bed. But the staff was always friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel

This was a real find in the middle of a bustling city where space and comfort are at a premium. The rooms were spacious and beautifully presented and staff were always happy to help with a range of matters from plug adaptors to where to find a good bar and club. The hotels 3 restaurants and bar are fantastic additions and you will find everything you want within the hotel if you'd rather stay in than explore the city. Located at Lexington and 48th you are a stones throw from Rockerfeller Centre and Bloomingdales, its central location allows for easy access by foot or subway to many attractions.
