Two words - Metro Card Available from Subway stations allow for a small fee ($7.50 when we were there) unlimited travel on either the subway or the buses (not the sightseeing ones) it is the best way to get round Manhattan, the subway was clean and felt secure throughout the day and we regret not using this service before. The traffic becomes heavy in the morning and evening during rush hour and this Metro Card allows you to zip round the city.

Try the new Gordon Ramsay restaurant at the London (maze), literally a 2 minute walk away, and spectacular food!

Hotel was great - I did a lot of research and wanted to be on a high floor (New York traffic very noisy 24/7) - we had a suite on the 43rd floor - fantastic views and quiet. Also we were on "executive" floor with own check-in and lounge - well worth it as this proved to be a haven away from the hustle and bustle and the inclusive continental breakfast and all day snacks were impressive. Staff were most helpful. If we go back to NY we'll stay here again.

This hotel is literally in the middle of everything. You are in very close proximity to: Radio City, MoMA, central park, 5th ave, St. Patricks, Broadway, etc. It is close to a subway station where you can get on and connect to anything at 42nd street stop.

Everyone told us when arrived that would not be able to get tickets for Wicked the Musical as need to book in advance but went to box office at 10am which is when he opens and got brilliant seats 5 rows from front for following nights performance.

I had a whirlwind weekend stay in NY. The hotel was situated within walking distance of every event I attended. The staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. My room was tastefully appointed, clean and comfortable. I recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a mid-town destination.
