A pleasure to be there

I used to live in Boston, so I knew what to to and where to go, but this hotel is close to the commons, the freedom trail and the theater district. Plenty to do in the immediate area, but be sure to venture out too.

Nice Stay in Boston

A Legal Seafood location is one block away - excellent food and an extensive wine list with many affordable selections. For a truly wonderful Italian dinner try Momma Maria's in the North End.

Happy in Boston!

When in Boston use their public transportation. It's real easy once you get the hang of it and MUCH cheaper than a taxie. You can take a free bus shuttle to the T and take the T to any destination. Check out the MBTA website before heading to Boston. Learn the system.

Beautiful hotel and even better location

Learn to use the T--it will save you so much on cabs. I find it't the easiest system to navigate in all the cities I've traveled. It's only $2 a ride and rarely runs late.

Good value, but staff inconsistent

The lobby staff was pleasant and exceptional in their duties. The cleaning staff, on the other hand left much to be desired. We often came back to the room to find that towels had been removed but not replaced, coffee mugs and water glasses were not cleaned; coffee was not replaced unless requested. Good location near the green line in the theater district and a good value as far as expensive Boston Hotels.

Taken for granted

We got to the hotel after and had to wait more then 2 1/2 hours for the room to be ready. The net service was not working the TV control was not working properly, For check out no speed check out and when we got to the counter the person was extremely rude. The only saving grace was the price. Will avoid at all costs.

Great Location!!!

the hotel parking is rather expensive. it is $40 a day, but you can take your car in and out of the garage as much as you want. we didn't use our car.....Boston is very walkable, so we parked it in a lot down the street. still a bit expensive, but better than the hotel.
