The description of this hotel as "Victorian charm" was another term for old. The bathroom was so small that the door hit the toilet, and could not be opened fully. I would only stay in this hotel again if it was the only one available.

This hotel was the cheapest in it's vicinity. I now know why it was so cheap. You get your money's worth. I'd suggest to either dish out some extra cash for something better in the area or stay outside of chicago for the same price.

My room definitely needed an overhaul, especially the bathroom that had cracked, broken and mis-matched tiles...drippy faucet

My room was small but comfortable.I'm not a picky or fussy person so I was not dissatisfied. The room was clean and I had a good shower and bed. The only thing that was annoying was the radiator. It made a hissing noise all night but I closed the bathroom door and the noise wasn't so loud. I actually went there to look for an apartment and it is really close to the apartment agencies. It's a really nice neighboorhood.

This is a lovely facility! We like the area in which it is located. We were not happy with the consistency of the shower water temperature. They need to update their system, somehow, to assure that there will be no sudden changes from hot to cold and back again.

This hotel room was too hot. The radiator could not be turned down. Window would not stay open, but after first night, figured out a way to prop it open so we could sleep. Bed also not very comfortable.
