The Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin is a modern hotel located in the Zeppelin-Carres building opposite Stuttgart's main train station, one kilometre from the Old Palace, two kilometres from the Liederhalle complex. This five storey hotel features 189 guestrooms, all of which are decorated in bright shades of yellow and blue or rich plum red. All rooms have air conditioning and include safes, cable television, pay movies and wireless Internet connections.
Guests can dine in the Olivo Restaurant which serves traditional Italian cuisine, including specialities such as white wine risotto with arugula or roasted lamb chops with stuffed eggplant and lavender sauce. Zeppelino's Restaurant offers a fusion of European and Asian dishes and snacks served in a relaxed warmly-lit ambience with cocktail bar, cigar lounge and outdoor terrace. Regional Swabian specialities are served in the traditional setting of Zeppelin Stuble. Located on the 5th floor, the Shiseido Day Spa has a sauna, steam bath,and massage rooms in a harmonious Japanese-style ambience overlooking the city. Treatments offered include colour therapy, aqua-jogging, Qi massage and Thalasso mud-baths. For business conferences or social functions there are 12 air-conditioned, multi-function rooms of up to 40 square metres in size, all equipped with the latest technology and equipment. Laptops can be connected to the Internet wirelessly throughout the building and multilingual staff on the 24-hour front desk can help with tourist queries. There is a public car park with direct access to the hotel located on Kronenstrasse. The Planetarium the Old and New Palaces and the Schlosspark are all a kilometre away and Stuttgart Airport (STR) is 30 minutes by car, 15 kilometres from the hotel.
