If you are only going to San Francisco, you do not need to rent a car. Their public tranportation system is great. If you do rent a car, keep in mind that you will have to pay $39.00 + Tax per night.

hotel is in a great location, close to Fishermans wharf, North Beach and numerous bus lines. Lots of foot traffic so lots of people watching available.

Beautiful hotel. Friendly Staff. GREAT LOCATION!!! The rooms are large, but cozy. Larger than most other rooms in SF. We were very happy with the service. Great Wine reception in the evenings. Would definitely stay here again. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Food is expensive everywhere, except In-N-Out Burger is a block away. Great burgers and fries at amazing prices.

Take advantge of the frequent happy hours in the bars close to the hotel and if you like live music visit the upstairs bar at Lous for excellent blues and rock.

The service was great. All of the employees were cheerful and helpful. The only thing I dont get about the Argonaut and most hotels is why they dont spend a little extra money to insulate the rooms. From beds sqeaking to hangers being hung we could hear it all
