North beach near the Del has a wonderful dog area! Rhinoceras Grill has excellent food, and they're pet friendly....same with the MrT's Irish pub for more relaxed fare. Check out the Ferry ride for the kids and Imperial Beach to the south for a nice little surfer town. It's a good conterbalance to the look and feel of Coronado island.

Our stay at the Lowes Coronado Resort was pleasant. Wonderful location, very comfortable, but the Market Cafe had issues. The food was excellent, and there was much variety, but the hostess staff was unfriendly and unresponsive, and the wait service was slow with very little interaction with the guests.

There are plenty of family/kids activities and at night you can have a sitter come to your room.

During my stay, I enjoyed their services and everything. Staffs are very friendly and nice but I don't undertand why they don't open business center on sundays. However, for family trip purpose, this is a very nice place to stay.

I have two small kids that loved the place. Our stay was perfect. There were no problems. The staff is totally devoted to serve the guests. They are pricey but worth the money.

Make sure when you are making reservations on line through Expedia, you do not put in the wrong dates. It will cost you big time!

Make sure you rent a car if you choose to stay at this hotel. Its very quiet and relaxing but not conveniently located to anything in walking distance. The restaraunts in the hotel were quire pricey.
