The Air conditioning was not cooling at all. I didn't report the problem to managers office because I was very busy.

The only problem was that the bathroom was very small. Otherwise it was really nice. Would suggest doing drinks, breakfast, coffee, etc... in the bar cafe. The restaurant is way too expensive;especially for a large family. The waiter had no interest in us. The hotel service otherwise was perfect!

take the subway or walk -- save on the cab fare. don't let the bell man hail a cab for you -- our cab fare from Laguardia to hotel was approximately $30.00, but we were told that the trip back was a flat rate of $35.00, and he added bridge toll to that!

Hotel was midtown district and easy to walk to 5th ave and time sq. Only problem we had was ants in the bathroom! But nothing major

Skip Asia de Cuba, TERRIBLE! Dont miss Spice Market and the Spotted Pig, meat packing district is a must.

Superior room was very large with as requested two double beds. Decor a little dated although I think that was the style as it was in good condition. bathroom fine with good shower but not that modern. Although we were on the 8th floor and the window was double glazed you could still hear the traffic so an even higher floor might be better. We made two requests from housekeeping, one for help from the safe (the previous guest had taken the batteries!) and the other for an extra blanket, and although the hotel has 1,000 rooms both requests were dealt with very promptly. The only real negative was that it would be nice if they had a proper coffee shop for traditional American breakfasts. The options currently offered are expensive room service and a self service Starbucks operation set up in the bar area each morning. However, overall a good, and very New York, hotel - I would stay again and recommend it to others.

The location could not be beat....the rooms were extremely clean. The staff was great. I will stay there again next time I get to NYC.

My daughter and I were very happy for our 3 nights here at the Roosevelt. Our beds were very comfortable with nice linens. The staff was very kind and helpful with everything from where to eat, to directions, to extra blankets. Our maid did an excellent job cleaning our room. I would definitely use this hotel again.

The Roosevelt offered one of the best prices for that quality of hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. The service was excellent. We would definitely go back.
